This is an independent, nonpartisan online news publication, started in July 2021 by Maryanne Curry-Shults, who acts as the Editor-in-Chief. It is part of the Patch Labs startup incubator.
It will cover news focusing on the Saddleback Valley as well as other local, state, national and international news. The goal is to start out with hyperlocal news and republished news from verifiable and credible sources, and to move into multimedia feature stories, op-eds and columns and sports. We will follow the Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists.
As we are just getting the ball rolling, we'd love to hear your comments and suggestions and we're here to answer any questions you may have.
